Navigate to Shapes & Dimensions and open ADD / MODIFY CUTOUTS.
Locate the region you want your cut-out and choose “Custom”.
A pop-up with an explanation on how to define a custom cut-out will appear – keep reading here if you need clarification.
The custom cut-out method is clearest when the view in Shapes and dimensions is the Outline only.
Open your Display Options, and under 2D Display Options, turn off the last option “Show Full Layout in Shape / Dimensions”.
Look at the overall shape of the cut out and determine the overall dimensions, the number of segments and the location of your points.
Determine the X and Y coordinates of the Points.
The X coordinate is the distance left or right.
The Y coordinate is the distance up or down
In the diagram below:
The first point position is the distance from the left side of the structure to the point at the end of the first segment.
Point A X:450 Y:400.
Point B’s position is now the X and Y coordinates from Point A.
Point B X:600 Y:-300.
