Updated over 5 months ago

Select the “Roof Sheeting & Flashings” tab.

Roof Sheeting

  • Contains a drop-down list of all roof sheet types available in your area.

  • Each type has a list of options unique to that type.

e.g. Choosing Bondor SolarSpan will also give you the list of available thicknesses

Some of the roof sheets give you the option to choose Colorbond or Zincalume.

  • Span Allowance - Will automatically set the purlin spacing depending on the allowable span of the type of roof sheet chosen.

  • “No Foot Traffic” - Will reduce the allowed span and force the least number of purlins.

  • “Non-Trafficable” - Will reduce the allowed span and increase the number of purlins.

  • The Colour Tab - gives the available colour choices for that roof sheet. Single-sided roof sheets give “Grey” as the underside colour.

  • Sheet Laying - is shown on the plan as a yellow arrow. You can change the sheet laying direction if it is relevant for your design.

  • The Skylight Menu - will be the type of translucent sheet which matches the roof sheet profile chosen. Skylights are added by hovering over a roof sheet in the workspace 2D plan or in the 3D image and selecting “Add Skylight”

  • Flashings - indicates the colour of the flashing related to the roof, which includes the ridge in gables. The colour will automatically be matched to the colour of the top of the roof sheet but can be changed as desired.
