Quote Notes Template
To assist with generation of quotes there is now an ability to create a template of Quote Notes.
On the top right , click on your user icon to open User settings; scroll down to Quote Notes and create a standard note to appear in the quote then click SAVE CHANGES, this note can be overwritten when you are creating the quote.
The template is used across your business license, if more than 1 user changes the notes, it will use the last version.
Downlights and fans
To improve the visuals of your designs, downlights and fans will now appear as icons.
To add Fan or add downlights, right click mouse on the panel you want to add it to.
Downlights
For insulated panel, when menu pops-up select the quantity of downlights for that panel.
For downlight trays on single skin, the light icons are a representation only, we do not supply the downlights for single skin applications (yet!).
Fans
The fans are a representation only, we do not supply fans, we do supply the bracket to mount the fan.
For single skin gables fans are installed on light trays.
Moving a Beam Splice
In a design that has a beam length longer than the maximum length a splice will be automatically added, there are certain engineering rules about where the splice can be located, however you can now move the location of the splice to suit your design.
Click on the beam splice icon
Select the pop-up Move Beam Splice…A slider will appear. You can position the splice within the red zone. It will move the post because the post needs to support the splice.
Change Beam Splice Qty
If you want to change the quantity of splices in a beam . Click on the beam select MODIFY/ADD Posts & Splices and change the splice quantity from Auto to the number you require.
