To ensure the relevant components pass engineering, click on BEAMS & POSTS under Properties and click on the icon beside the header to recalculate the engineering.

If engineering has passed a green tick will appear beside each of the headers under BEAMS & POSTS

If a cross appears beside the header, the engineering has failed.

The percentage load capacity on a component is shown as a pass or fail in the engineering and is visible beside the component header. This is the % of load capacity on the component , 100% or greater means the load has failed.

After changing the post, beam or rafter types, if engineering continues to fail, contact your local Lysaght rep for assistance or additional engineering requirements for more complex structures.
