In the Roof Sheeting & Flashings tab, left and right overhang options for single skin flats have been disabled – only Insulated Panel structures will allow a value to be entered here
The overhang effect can be created by moving the end posts in from the edge
Select the beam that the post is on
Navigate to Modify/Add Posts and physically slide the end post along the position bar
You can also click the dimension below the post position bar and enter the distance you want the post to move
The maximum distance a post can be offset is 1000mm (from the edge of the frame to the centre of the post)
** If your corner post position was selected as “Beam to Side” you will get a cantilever Engineering failure – this post needs to be notched or positioned behind the beam to allow the beam to continue in one full length across to the corner **
The post position can be changed in two ways:
Select Notched or Post Behind Beam in the Beams & Posts Properties Tab
Select the individual post and choose
“Modify Post”
Change the Top Connection Style to Notched or Post Behind Beam
** Once you change the top connection in this way, the Top Connection selection in the Properties tab will not apply to that individual post.
